Pilot Bits (Paddle Bits)

Terra-Bore’s HDD Pilot Bits are manufactured in the USA from domestically produced Armor Plate on state-of-the-art CNC machines. We do not use low cost imported castings or low cost high carbon steels. Our carefully selected Armor Plate has greater abrasion resistant characteristics than standard AR rated steels. All carbide bits and buttons are manufactured in the USA for quality and long service life. Where noted, the Tungsten Carbide Embedded Hardfacing Process is used for a 2 to 8 times better wear-life than typical hardfacing.
